AQX allows users to select any item/s in almost any selection tab to be highlighted in the report layout to make them easier to track. This item (and it's related sub-items) will be highlighted in a colour specified by the user. Multiple items (& colours) can be highlighted in the one report if required. The only tabs that don't allow for highlights are Currency, Discount, Weighting & Day Part.
For example - two competitors have been chosen for highlight in this report
How to select an item to be highlighted
At the Dictionary, Media, Period, Filter, System Filter, Data Type and Demo tabs you can select items to be highlighted. At the bottom of the selected pane in these tabs you will see a grey box with Highlights - Add Here.
To add an item into this box you can either:
- drag it from the selected pane (if it appears there) down to Highlights - Add Here. A green tick will indicate when you can let go -OR-
- drag it directly from the selection windows in the middle (if it isn't in the selected pane) over to Highlights - Add Here. A green plus will appear when you can let go. -OR-
- Right click on the item in the selection window and choose Add to Highlights
The item will appear here with the highlight background colour that it will be displayed with in the report. Yellow is the default colour for all items.
Example: This is how the selection was made for the two competitors highlighted in the image above. The two competitors weren't shown in the selected pane specifically so they were dragged in directly from the selection windows in the middle.
If you wish to change the colour of a highlighted item
This can only be done at the tab where the selection was made. Once you return there:
- Right Click on the item
- Select Delete from the menu. This will remove the item.

NOTE: If you are using Hotspots in conjunction with Highlights - the Hotspot will take precedence over the highlight. For example, if your highlighted item also contains the hotspot of 'Highest single value' - then that cell will have the colour of the hotspot, not the highlight. |
