In both the Media and Program tabs there is a Hierarchy Bar that is used to access the information contained within these areas of the database.
This hierarchy bar appears just to the right of the slider bar in both the Media and ProgramTabs with the grey background. This bar is vertical in eTAM XTC and has a button for each individual level of the hierarchy for that database. (Databases differ depending on supplier/country and thus the actual buttons will too.)
How to show 'More' or 'Less' hierarchy level buttons in the hierarchy bar
You have the ability to hide certain hierarchy levels buttons, in essence, to create a favourite list. You can then use the More or Less arrows to change between just your favourites or all buttons.
To show more or less buttons:
To flick between your "favourite list" and All - click on the More/Less arrow.
Reordering the Hierarchy levels
The hierarchy levels are flexible and can be moved around to help make selections or to see the information in a different light. This works at either the Media or Program Tabs.
For example: The Network level is below Market, however if you would like to see Network 7 by market in the selection window simply drag the Network level above Market as shown:

Click mode vs Drag mode
The Click/Drag Mode button at the bottom of the hierarchy list will set the mode for selecting items from the hierarchy.
Click Mode - will mean that you can click on the item and it will appear in the Selected Pane to the right. This also means that any hierarchy item clicked on to move down to the last item selected will be shown.
in the Click mode the button will be orange. The other way to know you are in click mode is that all items will have an empty check box beside it. Also everything you click on will have a blue cross in the check box and the text will be in bold blue writing.
Drag Mode - means that only the item you drag across will appear in the Selected Pane and any hierarchy used to make that selection will be shown to the right of the selected pane.
In Drag Mode the button will be grey. The other way to know if you are in Drag mode is that there is no empty check box beside each item. Also the text of each item you click on will be highlighted in blue but only the item dragged across will have the bold highlighted blue text with the blue cross beside it.
