AQX is made up of a number of tabs where selections are made.
These tabs are generally moved through from left to right however you can jump to only the tabs you require AND you can jump back to any tab at any time even once a report is run. If you do so - you will have to run the report again for it to pick up the new/changed selection.
The actual tabs shown in AQX can vary depending on the report type selected but generally consist of the items listed below. For more on these - click on the link:
- Report - where the layout of the report is made and the results show when run.
- Dictionary- where dictionary selections are made. e.g. category, advertiser, brand etc
- Media - where media selections are made. e.g. region, media type, outlet etc
- Period - where period selections are made. These could be actual dates and/or relative dates e.g. years, months, latest quarter, last 'n' months etc.
- Filter - other media specific elements used to filter results. e.g. key number, programs, size, section, page splits etc.
- Data Type - where data type selections are made. Change depending on report type & data access. e.g. Spend, Incidence, GRP's, Volume etc
- Demo - if your data accesses GRP/ R&F information the demo tab will list the demographics available for analysis. If you don't have access to this type of data the demo tab will not appear.
- Currency - allows you to set up a currency conversion file to convert the spend figures into a different currency
- Discount - allows you to set up a discount file to discount the spend figures. Can also be used to inflate spend if necessary.
- Day Part - allows you to view the data by user defined day parts.
Some countries may also have:
- System Filter - generally an ad status or Ad type filter
- Weighting - allows for different weightings /factors to be entered for various media types.
