AQX has a number of report types that can be utilised to pull out different information from the data you have access to. Each report type has it's own function as outlined below.
Explanation of AQX Report Types:
Report types can be accessed via the New button in the Toolbar. A drop down menu of each report type available will be shown. Click on the report type you require.
These will be blank reports that you will add all your required elements into and then create a report layout before hitting the play button to obtain your results. For more on this see Overview of How to Run a Report in AQX & report design.
Once set up initially - reports can be saved for future use or deleted as necessary. You can also set up default selections etc that will always appear in a report type by setting up a Report Template. Please see AQX Report Templates for more information.
This is the basic expenditure report template. It is very flexible and will be used for the majority of reports including expenditure, flighting, media schedules etc. This report type should be used unless you are creating one of the specific reports listed below.
See Overview of How to run a Report in AQX for more details.
Exception reports allow for a comparison between the advertising content on different media, specifically who advertised on one list and NOT in the other. This comparison could be between outlets, networks, media types, etc. The result is a list of advertising that has occurred in the first media but NOT in the second.
See Exception Reports for more details.
Duplication reports allow for a comparison between the advertising content on different media, specifically who advertised on one list AND ALSO in the other. This comparison could be between outlets, networks, media types, etc. The result is a list of advertising that has occurred in the first media AND ALSO in the second.
See Duplication Reports for more details.
New business reports allow you to view the 'new' business that has occurred for a media selection during a 'new business' date range compared to a 'base' date range. In addition - a dictionary analysis level is chosen which determines what information is considered new business (product, advertiser etc). The result is a list of advertising based off the dictionary analysis level that advertised in the new business date range and not in the base date range.
See New Business Reports for more details.
AQX New Business Exception Report
Is a combination of the New Business and the Exception report. It identifies the new business activity that occurred in one media selection but NOT in the other for the specified date ranges.
See New Business Exception Reports for more details.
New Lost Stable reports allow you to view new, lost and stable business for a media selection in one report. It compares a new business data range against a base date range and uses a dictionary analysis level to identify the:
- New business (i.e. did not advertise in base date range but did in the new business date range)
- Lost business (i.e advertised in base date range but not in new business date range) and
- Stable business (i.e. advertised in both the new business AND the base date range)
See New Lost Stable Reports for more details.
